Welcome to Öckerö Lighthouse Conversations 2025

The Island of Öckerö, 5-7th September 2025

The group who gathered for the Lighthouse Conversation 2024 expressed clear concern that more needs to be done to address how we communicate as a society, locally, nationally and globally.

We now widen the group and meet again for a new Lighthouse Conversations 2025 to create a space – mental and physical, spiritually and emotionally safe – for honest and open exchange.

Stormy Weather - Navigating a Changing World

Some topics for Lighthouse 2025 will be:

• Vehicles for fostering more and better public conversation, both digital and in-person.

• Building a shared reality.

• Education on the art and ethics of conversation

• Boosting responsibilities of citizenship and a lifetime of continuous learning.

• Promoting reflection and critical thinking as a core value for better decision-making.

• Tools to navigate complexity and uncertainty, tailored for media and leaders.
